BOSSIER, LOUISIANA The architectural firm of Earl Swensson Associates (ESa), Nashville, Tennessee, designed the first phase of renovation for the Boomtown Casino & Hotel. Formerly known as Casino Magic, the six-year-old property was renamed Boomtown Casino & Hotel in conjunction with its four-phase facelift and expansion. The northwest Louisiana's riverboat casino's US$25 million, first phase of improvements consists of a renovated 55,000-sq.ft. (5,110-sq.m) pavilion with four new dining venues: a Mexican restaurant, a 24-hour cafe, a 260-seat buffet and a steak house. The entire pavilion evokes the feel of being outdoors.
