Argentina's president said Friday a deal with the International Monetary Fund is imminent, though it is still unclear when exactly relief will come and in what amount.

"I can tell you, there will be an agreement," said Duhalde, a lame-duck president who will exit the post after elections next March. "The wheel of Argentine production is now beginning to roll."
