SOFTWARE TESTING OF PARALLEL APPLICATIONS

RICHARDSON, Texas, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- CONVEX Computer Corporation (NYSE: CNX) announced today that the Advanced Computing Laboratory (ACL) at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), New Mexico, has installed a CONVEX C220 supercomputer. The system is being used for beta testing of new software tools for visualization and massively parallel processing, involving applications in physics, chemistry, biology and other fields.
