What is the collective noun for a group of multi-managers? (Printable) suggestions on a postcard, please.
It seems barely a week goes by without another global fund management house offering multi-manager fund of funds (MMFOFS).
The past few weeks alone have seen Aberdeen and Gartmore commit to offering independent multi-manager products, compounding the merry-go-round in which myself and colleagues had some part last year.
What does it all mean? Bandwagons are usually only seen from behind, and there must be those of you who wonder if this trend is such a thing. Vested interests aside, I dont think it is.
