The Law Office of Patrick R. Kitchin today announced that it has filed a class action lawsuit against Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. (NYSE:RL) over the company's practice of requiring workers to buy and wear Polo Ralph Lauren clothing as a condition of employment (www.PoloClassAction.com).
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, argues that this practice -- known in the retail industry as "wardrobing" -- violates the California Labor Code, anti-trust laws and California's Unfair Trade Practices Act. California law clearly states that if employers require ...
