The Robert Mondavi and Rosemount Estate partnership announced today the appointment of Ian Shepherd as winemaker for the Robert Mondavi /Rosemount Estate new wine venture. Shepherd will oversee all winemaking and viticulture for the new collaboration, which encompasses crafting unique super-premium and prestige wines in both California and Australia, with a particular focus on wines produced from Syrah/Shiraz.
