BERKLIFF TO LAUNCH LOUNGEWEAR LINE
NEW YORK -- Berkliff Corp., will launch a loungewear line under the Anne Stuart label at the August innerwear market next week. Berkliff manufactures Anne Stuart and Berkliff sleepwear and private-label sleepwear and activewear.
Allen Berkley, owner and president of Berkliff, said he had considered expanding into at-home wear a year ago and estimated the new division will generate some $3 milion to $4 million in business the first year.
Steve Chachkes, vice president of sales and merchandising, said the capsule line has an "updated look with an activewear flavor." Fabrics include polyester and cotton stretch ...
