Oct. 15--Opponents of Manheim Auto Auction's expansion plans said today they're encouraged by a new ruling in Lancaster County Court which supports their challenge of the zoning change approved 10 months ago by Penn Township.
The auction, granted conditional-use approval by supervisors in December, did not follow township zoning requirements and must begin the approval process again, Judge James Cullen ruled.
Opponents are trying to block the auction's bid to expand onto 268 acres of farmland.
