speaking up for Colfax's no-man's land
Your August article, "Reclaiming Colfax," left out a necessary component of Denver's main Street revival: reintegrating residents of NeCo (Near Colfax) with their surrounding neighborhoods. Organized districts like Capitol Hill and Mayfair tend to ignore the no-man's land between 14th and 16th avenues. I live in Park Hill geographically but not socially. Would I be better integrated if my house number were 1620 instead of 1520?
