THE final moments of a schizophrenic man who was shot dead by Merseyside Police are to be re-created digitally in Britain's most hi-tech inquest.
Andrew Kernan, 37, was shot dead in July last year after he burst out of his home in Wavertree brandishing a samurai sword.
His movements immediately before the shooting will be replayed to the jury using computer-generated imagery on a video screen.
And the jury may visit the flat near Wellington Road which Mr Kernan shared with his mother Marie.
