THE regeneration of Lewistown has put the pride back into the community and created a beacon of regeneration excellence in the South Wales Valleys.
Lewistown landlord Bridgend County Borough Council invited Glamorgan and Gwent to join a team that included the Lewistown and Pantyrawel Tenants and Residents Association and the main house building contractor to totally transform the 1970s Valleys housing estate in Ogmore Vale.
