ILOILO CITY, Oct 17 Asia Pulse - The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regional office has exceeded its September collections by P55,217,193.73 (US$1 million) as compared to last year.
BIR regional director Rene Q. Aguas said all five district offices surpassed their collections last year.
Total collection of the BIR reached P216,147,494.67 as against P160,930,300.94 or an increase of 34.31 per cent.
Based on the collection goal set by the Bureau at P160,785,000, the regional office has an efficiency rate of 34.43 per cent.
