Inmarsat has been a player in the satellite communications field since it was first established in 1979, with the intention of bringing some order out of an often unreliable maritime communications field. Starting out with Inmarsat-A, the products have evolved over the years to include Inmarsat-M, -C and -B, giving customers choices in size, capabilities and costs.
The latest technological advance for the Inmarsat satellite system is Fleet F77. And the latest company to offer a Fleet F77 communications system is JRC, with its JUE-410F antenna, terminal and below deck equipment, which will be introduced in January.
