DALLAS -- The Baylor Health Care System Board of Trustees recently approved the development of Baylor Medical Center at Plano, located near the intersection of George Bush Freeway and Preston Road. The medical center will offer adult medical services including cardiovascular care, gastroenterology, oncology, pulmonology, orthopaedic services and an urgent care center for minor adult emergencies. Baylor officials expect to break ground at the site in January 2003 and open the medical center in October 2004.
