DEARBORN, Mich. -- The American Arab Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 10th anniversary by recognizing its 12 founding members and awarding $26,000 in scholarships to local Arab American college students.
The annual "Building Economic Bridges" Banquet will be held Friday, October 25th, at 6 p.m. at Burton Manor in Livonia. The expected 1,500 attendees will hear a keynote address by International UAW President Ron Gettelfinger. The Chamber will pay tribute to the late Steve Yokich, former UAW president and past Arab American of the Year Award winner, who died this past summer.
