Despite its relatively small population of little more than 100,000, Green Bay, Wis., is one of the best-known cities in America (and, as far as many enlightened visitors are concerned, for all the wrong reasons).
Of course, professional football - the wearing of the distinctive green and gold of the Green Bay Packers - accounts for Green Bay's national exposure.
