The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend Hepatitis B immunization for all youth aged 0 to 18 years who have not previously been immunized against the disease. (1) Adolescents not vaccinated with the hepatitis B vaccine as infants require "catch-up" vaccination currently being given to children aged 11-12 years. School-based health clinics have been used in many successful hepatitis B immunization campaigns. These clinics proved effective sites for hepatitis B immunization. (2-6)
