Offensive tackle Jon Jansen fell so hard for Lambeau Field when he saw it for the first time last season that he tried to convince his wife to book a flight there today to watch the Washington Redskins play the Green Bay Packers.
"She's not doing it because she already has another trip planned, but I tried," Jansen said. "I wanted her to see a stadium that was so much like the one I played in at Michigan, so much like the ones we said we enjoyed the most."
The Packers have a huge home-field advantage at Lambeau - 145-82-4 since it was dedicated in 1957 - but the Redskins didn't know and didn't care ...
