On the verge of retirement after almost 40 years in the industry, Dennis Aylmer, the tea buying director of Lyons Tea Ltd, looks back on the changes of buying pattern resulting from a constant search for highest-quality teas.
"Ireland's tea consumption is the world's highest, at 2.7 kilos per capita. But it's also the world's highest average quality," he begins.
