THE LAUGHTER PRESCRIPTION
The telephone call was from the Associated Press correspondent stationed in Chicago.
"How does it feel to be fully vindicated?" he was asking.
I drew a blank and said so.
"There's a report in the new issue of JAMA [Journal of the American Medical Association] providing scientific evidence that you were right when you wrote that laughter is useful in combating serious illness," he continued.
