Quiet finance company grows in Scripps Ranch
When a recently hired executive was asked whether he knew anything about Security Pacific Financial Services System, he had to admit he didn't. So the executive called the Scripps Ranch-based company to get some information.
Nothing unusual, except that the new executive works for the San Diego office of Security Pacific Bank.
Despite its obscurity even among employees of Security Pacific Corp., its Los Angeles-based parent, Security Pacific Financial has operated from San Diego since the late 1970s, and now employs 1,000 at Scripps Ranch and nearly 5,000 nationally. The non-banking subsidiary of ...
