Symyx Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:SMMX) today reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002.
Revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2002 was $14.4 million compared with $15.9 million for the same period in 2001. Revenue this quarter included $8.6 million in service revenue, mostly from Industry Collaborations. In addition, product sales generated $4.0 million in revenue, largely from the delivery of Discovery Tools(R) systems to Amgen, Inc., The Dow Chemical Company and North Dakota State University.
