If you were in Tampa in early November for the Association of American Railroads' 78th Annual Treasurers' meeting, you were witness to one of railroad finance's higher artforms - the fine art of networking. Who networked with whom? Railroad treasury and finance professionals networked with bankers, investment bankers and lessors. Investment bankers networked with tax oriented lessors. A variety of allied legal and insurance professionals networked with everyone else.
