23-25 Copenhagen, Denmark - Future Food and Bioethics: Towards an International convention on Biotech in the Plant and Food Areas
The Danish Government is organising the conference through the Centre for Ethics and Law. It wants to discuss the possibility of a new convention on bioethics which concerns genetic engineering in the plant and food area. The Government believes that biotechnology has a great potential and can be beneficial to society if it is used with care and respect for vulnerable life.
