Santa Clara, Calif -- Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) today announced that it will join the Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I ) as a contributing member. WS-I was founded on February 6, 2002 as an open industry effort chartered to promote Web services interoperability across platforms, applications and programming languages.
