Batman, uh, Adam West, decked out in a tuxedo, pulled up in a black Lincoln Continental limousine Thursday to announce a new dynamic duo: Geek Squad and Best Buy.

Best Buy Co. Inc. bought Minneapolis-based Geek Squad's 24-hour residential computer service business for an undisclosed amount and will begin offering the service at 14 Best Buy stores Oct. 28.

Batman's appearance at the news conference on Lake Street in Minneapolis was just the kind of shtick on which Geek Squad was built.
