Oct. 23--The seventh annual Southern Region Military and Civilian Job Fair took over the Montgomery Civic Center on Tuesday.
About 2,000 job seekers -- mostly retired military and civilians with the Department of Defense -- showed up with resumes in hand.
There to greet them were 75 employers, fanned out across the trade show floor, hunting for hires in fields ranging from computer programming to law enforcement.
