Thursday's third annual Biomed Expo in Ypsilanti will feature two new events: a panel discussion of public policy in ethical research and a new-technology showcase.
Lisa Kurek, managing partner of Ann Arbor-based Biotechnology Business Consultants, said 57 exhibitors from industry and government will attend the expo, a few more than last year.
The keynote address will be delivered by Nobel laureate Paul Berg, the emeritus Robert W. and Vivian K. Cahill professor in cancer research and biochemistry at Stanford University.
