In a speech at the 57th session of the UN General Assembly on 17 October, Iraqi representative to the United Nations Security Council Muhammad al-Duri called on the council to reform its work mechanism, Iraqi News Agency reported. Al-Duri said the Security Council has turned into a "court" for Iraq. The "court" works secretly, and the council acts as witness and judge.
