Looking for a way to bring customers into your dealership under the banner of community service?
A Texas dealer met with surprising success with what it billed as a farm equipment safety awareness seminar last winter.
"Our farmers and industrial equipment users tell us they're also concerned about rising workmen's compensation insurance costs, the threat of liability judgments and lost-time accidents in the use of equipment so we decided to respond and promote safety awareness for our customers," explains Terry Barbee, general manager of Barbee-Neuhaus Implement Co. of Weslaco, Texas.
