ANAHEIM, Calif. - Dusty Baker said the focus of completing the run toward a World Series title has prevented him from getting sentimental about the fact that this may be his final weekend as manager of the San Francisco Giants.
Baker's contract expires at the end of the month and his strained relationship with owner Peter Magowan (they no longer speak) is a seemingly sure indication that he won't be re-signed.
The Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners are believed to be interested in Baker but can't make contact with him until Monday at the earliest.
