ISABELLA Blow, the new fashion director of Tatler Magazine, has caused a bit of a stir in London. It's nothing to do with her latest millinery masterpiece, but rather, her love of Merseyside.
The 44-year-old style queen, widely credited for her discovery of designer Alexander McQueen and model Sophie Dahl, has decreed Liverpool to be the new fashion capital of Britain.
But Isabella Blow is a woman of action and has already introduced herself to fashion chain entrepreneur Robert Wade-Smith and rallied her famous friends to help set up a fashion shoot at the Royal Liver Building in early November.
