Two NCREIF conferences have come and gone since the last Valuation Committee report to The Appraisal journal. The Winter Conference was held in late February following the Winter Olympics at the Snowbird Conference Center near Salt Lake City. The conference began with the aura from the games lingering in the pristine mountain air.
The session began with a report on actions and events of the Advisory Council of the Appraisal Foundation (TAFAC) by NCREIF's representative, Bruce Kellogg, MAI, Cushman & Wakefield. Kellogg also serves as the Chair of the Emerging Issues Committee for TAFAC.
