Harry Sieben remembers the first time he approached Twin Cities ad agencies about developing a campaign for his Minneapolis law firm. It was a year after the 1977 Supreme Court ruling that gave lawyers permission to promote their services to the public through mass media.
"I couldn't get anyone interested," because the concept was so novel, said Sieben, president of Sieben, Grose, Von Holtum & Carey.
