Tele Atlas, the global leader in the development of state-of-the-art geographic databases, has just finalized a worldwide agreement with Harman International Industries, Incorporated, under the brand name Becker, one of the leading providers of car navigation systems.
From the middle of next year on, Harman will bundle CDs containing Tele Atlas maps of Europe in its retrofit navigation systems (i.e. fitted after buying the car). Car dealers, car accessory retailers, home electronic stores and a host of other distribution channels sell these throughout Europe. ...
