Fayetteville's first shopping center, EVELYN HILLS Shopping Center, is losing yet another tenant. After 11 years of operation in Evelyn Hills, The Education Station is moving to CROSSROAD Village in northeast Fayetteville.
Evelyn Hills expected a revival of sorts with the opening of Ozark Natural Foods two years ago. Evelyn Hills owner, Weingarten Realty Investors of Houston, Texas, completed a $2 million renovation to the shopping center just prior to ONF's move from Dickson Street.
Pam Gilbreath, co-owner of The Education Station with husband Jim Gilbreath, said the store received some "crossover traffic" from Ozark Natural Foods, but not much.
