Shepherds Purse Cheeses has complained it is being "clobbered" by DEFRA red tape following the unfavourable Brussels ruling that affects its `Yorkshire Feta' brand.
Only cheese produced in certain areas of Greece can be called Feta. EU cheese companies. will have five years to rebrand their products.
