THE Limousin breed now has the largest market share as a terminal sire, according to new figures released by the British Cattle Movement Service.
The breed's increasing popularity as a suckler cow is reflected in figures that show that one in three heifers assumed retained for breeding replacements are sired by a Limousin bull.
