ANAHEIM - Troy Glaus batted a series-high .385. He had 10 hits, three home runs, three doubles, eight RBI and seven runs scored. He also delivered steady defense at third base.
The one thing Glaus never did during the World Series - or any time for that matter - was call his contributions any more valuable than those of any of his Angels teammates. Glaus wasn't about to stray from that form after the Angels defeated the San Francisco Giants 4-1 on Sunday in Game 7 at Edison Field to clinch the franchise's first World Series championship.
