The border between home accent and furniture vendors blurs as more mainstream furniture companies add home accents to their product lines. They say they're crossing that border to help retailers sell more furniture; the better it looks on the retail floor, the better it will sell. They say offering a complete environment invokes an emotion in consumers urging them to buy. And they say there's money to be made selling accessories.
