A regional housing group has added its voice to those who like what is going on in downtown Mount Prospect.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago recently honored Chicago-based Norwood Builders with a Crystal Key Award for the developer's Village Centre projects. The award is given every year to recognize innovation and creativity in housing projects. Norwood won in the multifamily category.

The Village Centre project includes three condominium buildings collectively known as the Residences at Village Centre. These are on the block bounded by Central Road, Route 83 and Wille Street. The first building is complete ...
