It's batons across town at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music's Halloween concert at 8 tonight at Corbett Auditorium.
Cincinnati Symphony assistant conductor Sara Ioannides guest conducts the CCM Concert Orchestra in Benjamin Britten's "Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra," part of a developing collaboration between CCM and the CSO. The concert also showcases CCM's conducting program, with some of its outstanding students leading Franz Liszt 's "Totentanz" ("Dance of Death"), Morton Gould's "Tap Dance Concerto" and the theme from TV's "The Simpsons."
