The huge battle at the end of Episode II - Attack of the Clones is 'so big and so impressive that it will blow Gladiator out of the water,' says the film's stunt co-ordinator, Nick Gillard. The comparison with Ridley Scott's epic is apt in that the battle takes place in a Roman-style arena. The Star Wars 'gladiators' fight not tigers but digital beasts and military hardware.
