HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker today urged all eligible Pennsylvanians to exercise their right to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
In his November radio address, Gov. Schweiker said that voting is a good way to honor veterans and to show thanks for the freedoms they helped to protect.
"It's evident in today's turbulent world that America is blessed with a strong democratic society," Gov. Schweiker said. "And we should not take for granted our most cherished right of citizenship -- the right to vote.
