This weekend, Central New Yorkers have the opportunity to both hear a discussion of Tibetan Buddhist thought and to see and touch - and buy - artifacts of Tibetan art and culture.
Nawang Gehlek Rimpoche, a Tibetan high lama who has lived in Ann Arbor, Mich., for many years and is a U.S. citizen, returns to Syracuse today for a dialogue with Roko Sherry Chayat, abbot of the Zen Center of Syracuse. The two will talk at 6 p.m. in Grant Auditorium of Syracuse University's College of Law.
