San Diego County's 18 cities continue to grow
Population boom remains strongest in North County
The city of San Diego, measured by population, budget, square miles and assessed property value towers far above the other 17 incorporated cities within the county.
But most of the cities continue to grow in population and assessed property value.
The city of San Diego, is ranked No. 1 on this year's list with a total of 1.118 million in population, compared to 1.087 million reported Jan. 1, 1989, an increase of about 30,500 people.
It has a budget of $736 million for fiscal year 1989-90 and a total assessed property value of $48 ...
