Gasoline Vapor Pressure Standards Costing More Than Had Been Expected
As gasoline vapor pressure comes down to meet federal regulations, the oil industry adapts to the ramifications -- the costs, the methods and the problems. An analysis has been made of the lessons learned from 1989, the first year of the regulation.
According to the report, presented by Joseph Sanzo, loss control manager at Time Oil Co., consequences included a higher cost than the Environmental Protection Agency predicted.
