As Congress ponders an unprecedented $8 billion plan to restore the Everglades, the National Wild-life Federation (NWF) and the nation's other large conservation organizations are rallying the public to help save the "river of grass."
"Americans must rise to the challenge to save this part of their natural heritage before it's too late," says NWF President Mark Van Putten.
