House of Blues wants to join Ford Field
The House of Blues has decided that it wants to bring a restaurant and music venue to Detroit's Ford Field. Now it's just a matter of working out details.
``Detroit is the home of Motown. It's a great music city. It makes a lot of sense for House of Blues to be in Detroit,'' said Liam Thornton, House of Blues' vice president of development.
Thornton said the House of Blues is also impressed with recent downtown developments, such as Ford Field.
``There are a number of pieces of the puzzle that still need to fall into place, but we're confident that those issues will be resolved,'' Thornton said.
