FONTANA - Who said starting in the back was a bad thing?
Ted Musgrave scored his second consecutive NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory at California Speedway on Saturday by marching from the rear to run away with the American Racing Wheels 200 before an estimated crowd of 45,000.
When the green flag started the race, Musgrave was 30th in the field of 36 trucks. But he worked his way to the top spot after 26 laps and then battled Robert Pressley, Travis Kvapil and Brendan Gaughan until finally pulling away 34 miles from the finish.
Musgrave's winning speed was 140.296 mph, fifth-fastest in series ...
